Nearby, is the Tryon nature trail. You can hike on its path, fish on the dock, or simply sit and enjoy the solitude. If you're a bird-watcher, you've come to a great place.  | Further afield, the Island offers up a vacationer's buffet and you can sample as much as you like. We want you to enjoy your stay with us so much that you'll come back year after year and you'll tell all your friends and family that they should visit too. Although Prince Edward Island is small it offers something for everyone.
You can relax on a quiet beach, hike or cycle (we have bikes for you), go golfing, eat fabulous seafood at some of our favourite close-by restaurants, or enjoy great shopping, theatre, music, and art. The Island is rich in culture, populated by Mikmaq First Nations, Acadians, the ancestors of Celtic and Lebanese settlers, and many more recent immigrants to this pretty province. There is almost no end to the cultural activities you can enjoy while you are here. We have too many festivals to list but be assured, there is a festival every week, a cultural event every night throughout the summer.
