Evening Primrose B&B
your place to stay

What we offer

  • Evening Primrose has great food. If you stay in our bed and breakfast suite, you automatically have our breakfast of homemade bread and biscuits, scones and muffins, fresh fruit and cereal. If you stay in the cottage, you can make a special arrangement for breakfast served there.
  • Further afield, the Island offers up a vacationer's buffet and you can sample as much as you like. We want you to enjoy your stay with us so much that you'll come back year after year and you'll tell all your friends and family that they should visit too.
  • Although Prince Edward Island is small it has something for everyone.

  • You can relax on a quiet beach, hike or cycle (we have bikes for you), go golfing, eat fabulous seafood at some of our favourite close-by restaurants, or enjoy great shopping, theatre, music, and art. For the best information on Arts and Entertainment on Prince Edward Island, check out The Buzz.
  • The Island is rich in culture, populated by Mikmaq First Nations, Acadians, the ancestors of Celtic and Lebanese settlers, and many more recent immigrants to this pretty province. There is almost no end to the cultural activities you can enjoy while you are here. We have too many festivals to list but be assured, there is a festival every week, a cultural event every night throughout the summer.
  • We've already mentioned golfing but if you'd like to explore other outdoor activities some of the best information can be found on the links below. Enjoy your virtual tour!

  • And if shopping for gifts or discovering beautiful handcrafts makes you happy, Prince Edward Island has an extraordinary number of shops and craft studios. Right Off the Batt Pottery is owned and operated by our good friends, Cindy and Darrel Lentz, in the nearby village of Kinkora. You can buy pottery there or even take a workshop and create your own beautiful treasure.
  • Your drive to PEI Preserves takes you through a very scenic part of Prince Edward Island. It is well worth the drive. You can taste test a huge array of jams, jellies, salsas and chutneys and have an elegant lunch overlooking a pretty, winding river.
