The pretty little seaside village of Victoria-by-the-Sea is mere minutes away. It's a tiny place with lots to do.

Island Chocolates: Great handmade Belgian chocolates. Enjoy it all on the deck.  Hands-on workshops Wednesday & Sunday $35. Daily 9 am to 9 pm • June 15 to Sept 15

Seaview Take Out: The best fish & chips, juicy burgers, pita wraps, superb salads & home cut fries - and all reasonably priced.
